In a Pickle: A True Story

The sandwich was supposed to come with a pickle. On my way out I looked in the bag and I didn't see a pickle. I went back to the counter and politely smiled and said  "Can I get a pickle, please." The woman at the counter looked around furtively, then quickly handed me a pickle. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich there was a pickle inside. That's why I didn't see the pickle before. Now I feel like a pickle mooch. On top of that she (accidentally?, generously?) gave me two pickles. So I feel extra guilty. Of course, I thought about going back and explaining myself. And, of course, I did not. As I was eating the sandwich a lightning storm arose outside. Also the price of the sandwich was $6.66.

Sparkle called instead of replying to my email. I want to make that mean something.

In all seriousness, I appreciate the boldness and creativity of putting this on their billboard the usually displays the more traditional Bible verse.
